With the advancement of technology, 3D camera imaging technology, including Time-of-Flight (ToF) technology, has also made significant progress and is now widely used in consumer electronics, industrial applications, automotive, healthcare, security and surveillance, robotics, and other fields. However, time of flight technology, which actively emits light, still faces some key challenges in practical applications, one of which is its imaging performance under the strong light scenarios. This article primarily demonstrates the imaging performance of two Vzense 3D ToF cameras, the DS86 and NYX650, which are based on different operating principles, in capturing objects under bright lighting conditions.

Product introduction
The DS86 product is based on CW-iToF (Continuous Wave indirect Time of Flight) technology combined with a global shutter exposure lens series camera, utilizing 940nm infrared light, making it compatible with both indoor and outdoor scenarios. The camera is designed to industrial standards, offering high reliability, better data stability, high resolution, well accuracy and precision. It has bright outdoor light resistance, making it suitable for outdoor scenarios.
The NYX650 product is based on P-iToF (Pulse indirect Time of Flight) technology combined with a global shutter exposure lens series camera, also utilizing 940nm infrared light. It features high signal-to-noise ratio, strong light resistance, wide dynamic range, prevention of rang aliasing, and multi-machine coexistence. It is easier to capture the trajectories of fast-moving objects, has high reliability, better data stability, and bright outdoor light resistance, making it suitable for outdoor scenarios.

Summary
From the point cloud images demonstrated above, it is evident that both the DS86 and NYX650 cameras can fully capture the depth value information of target objects under bright lighting conditions. The imaging performance of the target objects is barely affected by sunlight. Therefore, Vzense 3D ToF cameras are well-suited for use in outdoor bright light scenarios.
